One of the main objectives of the educational product Kit "Earthquakes and Volcanoes" is the assessment of prior knowledge that children might have concerning earthquakes and volcanoes, plus verification or not of the conquered knowledge.

In order to achieve the objective, two evaluation sheets have been developed as a support tool adjusted to children. The evaluation sheet StudentPretest Racce regards the stage of assessment of existing knowledge and should be completed before any educational procedure, while StudentPosttest Racce that should be filled after the completion of the educational procedure and urges children to rate their involvement in all stages of the educational program.

With this process children can evaluate the results of their research and the quality of the knowledge developed and the level of difficulty they faced as well as the success of the solutions found.
